Stuck in Outbox

I'm Using "Outlook 2007"
I'm sending from a Large Distribute list with Probably 100 Email addresses.
The messages seem to be sent as I send myself a copy that I receive, however
their is no proof of the email being sent as there is No Copy left in the
sent folder. Also, the email gets jammed in the "Outbox". When I click the
"Send & Receive" button again, to see if it will continue to send, the
process seems to lose control and begins performing thousands of send tasks
and will not stop performing until I click on the "exit without sending". I
don't have a clue as to what kind of tasks it is performing however it seems
to be working at an intense speed. If I send from a small distribution list
os say 10 email addresses I don't seem to have this problem.
What do I need to do to repair this problem?
I've checked with ISP and they don't have any restrictions on this sort of
mailings. Also I'm using bcc for sending out from these distribution lists.

Don't let the tech person at your ISP tell you otherwise. He probably does not know or is not aware of this restriction.

Call and get in touch with a supervisor or the administrative office of your ISP.
Most ISP's and probably your also have restrictions built into their servers where after a certain amount of addresses your bulk mail it is cut off. This is a Spam prevention on the part of the ISP's and most probably your's also.

As far as deleting any stuck emails in the Outbox see the following

Go offline and close Outlook. Wait about 2 minutes and open Outlook in the Offline mode. Try and delete the stuck message.

Or if the above fails see the following link

your ISP likely has some restrictions on the number of people you can send to
at the same time or the size of the email and number of contacts you are
sending to. This to stop possible spam. My suggestion would be to send to 20
contacts at time.

Also to get the email deleted and start again, close Outlook completely.
Then disconnect any cable modems or phone lines connected to your computer.
Then open Open Outlook, go to you Outbox and then simply delete the message.
It may take a minute or two depending how much info is there. After the email
deletes, recoonect all cables or phone lines and use Outlok as normal
