Stuck in a loop

When I boot up I get the screen with "safe mode, command prompt, your most
recent settings that
worked, etc". It does not matter which option I choose from this menu, the
computer will
just restart and take me back to the exact same menu of options. I have tried
all the options on this menu and I keep coming back to the same place - I am
stuck in a
loop. Can anyone tell me how to get past this loop and to my desktop? All
help appreciated.

Unless you have acce$$ to Winternals ERD Commander to access a restore point, you'll have to do
a repair install. http://www.winternals.com/Products/AdministratorsPak/
