Stuck at 'Applying Personal Settings'

We have recently added two XP computers to our Win2k domain. These
are the first two XP computers in our native win2k domain. The
problem is that the XP computers seem to hang at 'Applying Personal
Settings' for nearly an hour. The event logs show nothing out of the
ordinary and both PCs are on DHCP. Any thoughts?
