stubborn uninstall

how can I uninstall a program that absulutely refuses to uninstall in
"control panel add/remove" ???

Which program ? - Does the uninstall process complete or post up
a message about a failure or inability to uninstall. The "Catch-All"
resolution is to re-install the application ( To the same folder/location)
and then re-try the uninstall.

Try to do it manually, going to every file about the program and deleting
them... I had the same problem with AOL...

It's hard to say anything that might help unless you tell us what the
program is called.
 
The program is a Rogers/Yahoo browser. I've re-installed and still can't get
what's called "base components" to unistall. The process uninstalls
everything with this browser but completely stops when it gets to base
components. I get no messages at all ..... just stops. Rogers has been no
help .....
