streaming video problem with one web site

I think I see why you may have had a problem. According to
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/wi...aspx#RollingbacktoapreviousversionofthePlayer

it's impossible to roll back from WMP 11 to WPM 10 once a program like
Ccleaner or Window Washer is used (because it deletes the hidden folder
$NtUninstallwmp11$). That's why I originally suggested reinstalling WMP
11.

Actually I did roll back from WMP11 to WMP10. I even reinstalled 11 to
see if it would solve the problem....which it didn't. I'm back at 10
now.

As it stands right now I think I'll just live with it. The sites I
want to see video on all work except for the one Waikiki web cam.
My XP installation is getting to that typical point Windows always
seems to get to where it's kind of ragged and messy. Too many installs
and uninstalls....too many hiccups along the way. I keep keep C: for
Windows only so no data will be lost when I format C: and reinstall
XP.

Many thanks for your help!

You're welcome. I'm glad that the problem seems to be with that one site
only; that tells me it's really more their problem than yours.

Nothing wrong with the old college try, though. :-)
