I have a desktop computer connected to a stereo system. I also have a
laptop computer that is wirelessly to the same network. Does anyone
know of a way that I can watch DVD's or watch youtube videos on the
laptop and have the audio play over the network through my desktops
speakers?
Thanks,

The several ways would be:

1) Remote Desktop onto laptop, from desktop. Then, sound is
automatically transfered to the Desktop speakers. Requires XP Pro to
be installed on laptop.

2) Get a keyboard, mouse, video (KVM) switch that also allows speakers
to be "shared." Both the desktop and laptop must be next to each
other.

3) Wireless audio transmitter. Plug the audio transmitter into
external speakers jack, tune stereo to corresponding FM station. Play
videos. Usually used for MP3 players.
