Recording Streaming Audio

Using Nero, I am attempting to record streaming internet audio. I set ny
sound recorder input to "stereo mix" which supposedly will create a wave
file of any audio that goes through my sound card. The audio sounds great
as it is streaming, but when I play back the resulting wave file, the voice
track is much lower volume than the right & left tracks. (It almost sounds
like a Kareoke removal of the voice, but not quite that bad). I've tried
different sound recorder software and always get the same results. Any
clues as to what the problem is?

Right-click on the speaker icon in the System Tray and select Adjust
Audio Properties. (Or open Control Panel and open Sound and Audio
Devices.) Click on the Audio tab. In the Sound Playback section, click
on the Advanced button. What is selected for your Speaker setup?

What version of Nero are you using? Perhaps one of its settings needs to
be changed. If you need help, you should post to a Nero forum.

Check StreamRipper, a freeware program.
