Strange vert. pixel lines all over Screen

I have a Dell Inspiron 9200. I'm getting these vertical lines of different
color pixels all over my screen. Everyday I get a bunch more. My screen is
getting almost unusable. I'm a computer idiot....any suggestions?

Are they fixed pixels that are always on? If so, go through this

My warranty is expired and Dell makes it painful to contact them via email or
phone. The lines are fixed and increasing daily. The right 2" of my screen
is white w/ additional lines through them and hides whatever is beneath it.
I tried the troubleshoot links w/o success. I think my screen is "dying". I
think this is a common problem w/ these models. There are a few websites
that I found dedicated to this problem. No solution is offered besides
replacing the screen out of pocket (about $400-500).
