strange lines appearing on my screen

I have an inspiron 9300 laptop. and there are strange lines appearing all
over my screen and i cannot get rid of them. if anyone knows how to remove
the lines let me know. thank you.
 
Describe them to us first. It could be that the LCD screen is dieing.
