Greetings,
I have a little problem with my internet connection: it passes the
identification of ID & password, but after this it doesn't show the
homepage (or any other page), it justy appear in the lower left corner
"connecting to the site 216.123..." and after a while it shows an
error page.
I never had this problem. It's not a problem of the provider, I have
another pc and it connects perfectly. It's not a virus.

I have tried everything, and the only procedure that works is this:
* uninstalling the tcp/ip protocol
* reboot
* installing the tcp/ip protocol

If I try to connect after reinstalling the protocol, the connection
works normally, but if I reboot the problem reappears.
Any idea?

thanks in advance for any help

Yocks. The very first thing I would do is get a software firewall onto your
machine and find out who's trying to get out and shut them down forthwith!
And, of course, install SpyBot and Adaware with the latest data definitions.

Have you tried just disabling and then enabling the connection? If it
works, that won't solve the problem, but you could probably avoid the
reinstall.
