Hello

I have a problem with ms outlook 2007 under Windows Vista 32-bit. When
i'm trying to retrieve mail, nothing happens and in the event log
appears an entry like that:

<Event xmlns='http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/
event'><System><Provider Name='Outlook'/><EventID
Qualifiers='16384'>32</EventID><Level>4</Level><Task>0</
Task><Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords><TimeCreated
SystemTime='2009-10-28T11:03:31.000Z'/><EventRecordID>18565</
EventRecordID><Channel>Application</Channel><Computer>boruta-PC</
Computer><Security/></System><EventData><Data>C:\Users\boruta\AppData
\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook2.pst</Data></EventData></Event>

The second thing is that I do not see a menu item for editing groups
for send / receive. Any ideas?

Looks like the error is pointing to your PST file. Have you scanned it for
errors?

Yes i've scanned my *.pst file, that was a first step i did. I was
tried also other solutions like deleteing outcmd.dat example, but
either with no success.

Are you seeing any receive errors? When you enable the view of the
send/receive progress, there is an error tab that you can click on.

The SRS file may be corrupt - does Ctrl+Alt+S open the send/receive dialog?
If not, find and delete the SRS file.
See http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/filepath.htm if you need help
finding it.

The SRS file was indeed corrupt as You suggested. I removed it and now
works flawlessly. Thanks for great advice.
