Strange printer mapping problem

B

Bjørnar Bolsøy

Hello,

I had a TS user who suddenly could see and use a shared printer
from a DC on a completely different site in our AD.

So, the TS user logged in to Site:1 server:TS01, and got mapped a
shared printer from site:2 server: DC02.

There are no scripts running that maps printers, only the local
RDP redirection is used.

Neither printer display name, share name, printer driver nor
port address coincide with anything this guys has locally.

Anyone have any idea how this could happen?

Kind regards...

Hi
Is there other users logged in to the same terminalserver with printers
mapped from site 2? If so, could it have something to do with
permissions of the user? Permissions on the spooler folder? Can the
user see all the printers that are connected on this server?

best regards

Arnfinn
