Strange networking problem

Guest

Two PC's, both running Win XP Home. Both plugged into a Linksys BEFSR41.
Both DHCP clients. Both access the Web fine. PC1 can ping PC2, but when PC2
tries to ping PC1, it times out. Any tips or suggestions?

The most likely problem is that a firewall on PC1 is blocking access
from PC2. It could be XP's built-in firewall, or a firewall program
from Norton, McAfee, ZoneAlarm, PC-cillin, Sygate, etc.

Note that some recent antivirus programs have built-in firewall
functions, too.
