Strange message when Outlook Starts

K

Kent Bailey

Whenever Outlook Today is entered I get the following
message:
"The Procedure entry point _GetIUMS@4 could not be
located in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL"

After that everyting works just fine but it is annoying
to say the very least. I have tried uninstalling and
reinstalling Office XP (2002) but the message still comes
up. Has anyone seen this before, and what can I do about
it?

Thanks.

Go to Windows Update or Microsoft Downloads and get the latest MDAC from
there. It will correct the problem. Windows Update is probably easier.
