Strange Folders on HD

i was wondering if anyone could tell me where these files
came from? What they are for?

C:\573\sp2\update\update.exe
C:\5549d9e2fcfb95fafc452d9e3c4b\sp2\update\update.exe
C:\db3cd37b30804ef\sp2\update\update.exe

Those look like the temporary folders generated by running Windows
Updates, In which case you no longer need them. With all such things,
start by renaming the folder at some point (eg the sp2 to sp2not) and
make sure that nothing complains over a few days before finally deleting
