Strange fault in XP Help and Support Tool

F

Finn

Hello:
When going into Windows XP PRO SP2, Help and Support Tools section,
clicking My Computer Information, it starts the scan, then gives a
message,
"undefined" is null or not an object, and the green bars stay in place
at
100% showing collecting disc information, and stays stalled showing no
info.

All other system tools such as advanced computer information work
correctly.

Any help, or input would be appreciated.

What happens when you do this?

Start | Run | Type: msinfo32 | Click OK

Do you get any errors?

Make sure that the DCOM Server Process Launcher service is set to automatic
and running.

Open Services...
Start | Run | Type: services.msc | Click OK |
Scroll down to and double click DCOM Server Process Launcher |
Set the startup type to Automatic | Click Apply |
Click the Start button | When the service starts, click OK |
Close Services
