Strange "All Programs" issue...

Upon restart, any shortcuts in the All Programs are gone...only folders are
left. This is true of the All Users and logged-in user. Even the
desktop.ini is gone. I've never seen or heard of this one before, so anyone
having some ideas here would be welcome.

Yeah, I tried that ( seemed like a registry issue on the surface ). It did
find/correct issues, but it didn't fix the problem.

defrag called pagedefrg from
microsoft.com
