Storing E-Mail Addresses in Access Tables

Sir/Madam

I am attempting to enter E-Mail addresses on a form such as "(E-Mail Removed)"
so that the user can click on this field in another form and open a blank E-Mail with the address at the top and send it from access.
However when I save the forms contents it is being stored in the table as (E-Mail Removed)#http//:(E-Mail Removed)#
Obviously my E-Mail system (Outlook) has no idea what this address is and throws an error.
Any advice much appreciated.
