Store URL's in Address History Pulldown

Hi,

How do I have IE retain the history of my previous site visits in the
address bar when I click the right pulldown arrow. When I click the right
pulldown arrow, nothing shows there BUT if I start typing in a URL, the
autocomplete works and brings up the previous site after typing a few
letters. The autocomplete is fine, I just want to be able to view the
history by clicking the right pulldown arrow. My setting for retaining the
history is set at 31 days but nothing is being kept. If I click the
"history" button, a new pane opens up on the left side of IE and does show
the history but that is not the way I want to do it. My previous computer
worked just fine. I just can't get my new computer to do it. Argh..... Any
help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks

You can't use the TypedUrls as History.
It only holds the last 25 urls you have TYPED in the Address Bar.
They are held in the Registry here:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs]
