Tools | Options | Advanced | Maintenance | Store Folder will reveal the
location of your Windows Mail message store. Write the location down and
navigate to it in Windows Explorer or, copy and paste it into Start | Run.

This folder is marked as hidden by default. To view these files in Windows
Explorer, you must enable Show Hidden Files and Folders in either the
Control Panel or Windows Explorer | Tools | Folder Options | View.

Look for the Windows Mail Message Store folder to see its size. If you
haven't compacted lately, do that first as the size is not reduced when
deleting messages until you do.

Tools | Options | Advanced | Maintenance. Set the counter to 1 and close
WinMail. Let it compact when you see the prompt. Reset the counter to no
higher than 100 when you're done.

Duplicate incoming messages are almost always caused by having a
duplicate account in Windows Mail. Check under Tools, Accounts, and
make sure there isn't a duplicate mail account.
