I have 2 computers each using XP Pro.
On one, when I right click on a file or folder, the
sharing box which controls sharing pops up.
On the other, it doesn't.

There must be a setting somewhere I'm missing.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

I think it is on the computer that is not showing the sharing tab, right
click on the drive, and disable simple file sharing.
I think that it.

The Workstation service need to be started and running for the "sharing and
security" option to enable.

I disabled simple file sharing and it didn't make any
difference.

I checked to be sure Workstation service was started and
running.

I still cannot get to the sharing box when I right click
on a shared folder and then left click on Sharing.

Any other suggestions:

Larry
