On my laptop with XP 2002 SP3, how can I
stop it from telling me that wireless
is or is not connected when I log on?

Thanks,
Mike.

Mike,
Control Panel>Network Connections>Wireless Network>General Tab>Properties
Button>General Tab, bottom, uncheck/uncheck.

Good Luck!

WT,
Your No Auto Update advice worked as advertised, but
not this one. Mine looks a little different:
Control Panel>Network Connections>Wireless Network>
Change Advanced Settings(on the left)>General Tab,
bottom ... but the two check boxes are already
unchecked, and I am still getting the connected and
not connected warnings.

Mike.
