STOP uncorrectable hardware error

My STOP 0x00000124 BSODs have stopped. That's a rash statement if ever I
heard one but...

I upgraded the nVidia driver from 100.65 to 158.18
I installed the latest Creative XFi driver
I disabled C1E in the BIOS (a forum recommendation)

No more BSODs for the last 3 weeks and Vista is behaving itself wonderfully.

This is definitely a driver based issue and nothing to do with overclocking.

It's in the BIOS menu (mine's an AMI BIOS) under the Advanced tab. The
default setting is enabled, just chang ethat to disabled - there's only the
two options. The hypothesis is that it interrupts some low level part of the
OS's graphics structure. I don't know about that and I don't think it works
for everyone but give it a go.

Good luck.
