Stop synchronizing hotmail account

I would like Outlook 2002 to stop synchronizing my
hotmail account. My Outlook 2002 earthlink account is not
synchronized,outlook just downloads my earthlink online
inbox only (none of the other saved boxes such as folders
I want to retain online are downloaded). I would like my
hotmail account to do the same, instead of synchronizing
to outlook and leaving files on my online hotmail inbox
as well as other folders I have online within hotmail.
This keeps my hotmail online folder full.

You mean removing from the server? You can't do that with Hotmail as it is
an HTTP account so you are reading on-line. Outlook just stores an off-line
cache of Hotmail for you. There are little tools like HotmailPopper which
can emulate your Hotmail account as a POP3 account.
