Stop Switchboard Use

How can I remove the switchboard function, so my db does
not open with the switchboard. I went into Startup, and
removed the application name and selected "None" for the
switchboard to open. The only thing that happens, is the
db opens to a blank page. I must exit, then hold down the
shift key when opening the db.

1. In Startup, set the Display form to: (none)
2. Look for a macro named autoexec and rename it.

do you mean you want to see the database window, when you open the database?
and after you changed Display Form/Page to (none), you no longer see the
switchboard, but you don't see the database window either?
if above is correct, then go back to Tools, Startup and put a checkmark in
the box next to Display Database Window.
