Stop request for confirmation

When I try to delete a block of text, Word asks me for confirmation.

This doesn't seem to happen to other users of Word.

How do I turn off this message and get my computer to treat me like an
adult? (ie, I know when I want to delete a paragraph. Honest, I do.)

On the General tab of Tools | Options, clear the check boxes for both items
that refer to WordPerfect.
