Stop error when trying to reinstall

When I boot from the Windows 2000 CD to reinstall, the
setup begins but then I get the following stop error:

STOP: 0x00000050 (0xE115300, 0x00000000, 0x804EF99F,
0x00000001)

Address 804EF99F base at 80400000, DateStamp 384d5a76 -
ntoskrnl.exe

Any help on this would be appreciated.
