Hi!

I've installed russian SP4 (Network Installation - w2ksp4_ru.exe) on russian
W2K with SP3 and got BSOD after rebooting:

*** STOP: 0x0000001E (0xC0000005, 0x8045844B, 0x00000000, 0x0000EA2A)
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
*** Address 8045844B base at 80400000, DateStamp 3ee6c002 - ntoskrnl.exe.

Using F8 options give no results. There is no boot loging.

I' have 2 HDD drives on Promise UDMA66 PCI card and W2K NTFS is accessible
from other drive. NTOSKRNL.EXE is readable. I use byte by byte comparision
of it with one from SP4 package and they are equal.

Any suggestions?

Hmm, I have the exact same error message, right down to the address
numbers. I'm running an english w2k, but I do have a promise udma66
pci card..

No solutions yet... Thats why I'm here :)

You should try updating your Promise Controller Drivers. Some issues may
have been exposed in those drivers. If necessary you may need to roll back
the SP from the Recovery menu then update those drivers.
