Stop Error on XP Install

Trying to install XP on to my new SATA hard disk but having issues. The text
part of the install is fine, it reboots and tries to launch the GUI section
but blue screens with the following:
Stop:c0000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Session Manager Initialization system proces terminated unexpectedly
with a status of 0xc000026c

Anyone help.

26c is usually a device driver problem.
Does your sata controler require raid/sata drivers installed from floppy (F6
option) during the installation?
Do you need to enable sata either in bios or via mobo jumper?
