The system had been okay then windows downloaded a service and it does
nothing but reboot. I reinstalled xp and things were good until updates
installed the same service pack. It does them in groups so I dont know whick
one. I diabled restart on an error; and I get this message "c000021a {fatel
system error} session manager Initialization system process terminated
unexpectedly with a bus of 0xc000026c ( 0x00000000 0x00000000 ) system has
been shut down." I can not even load safe mode to do a system restore. Any
help ?

Can you boot from your CD?
When the dust has finally settled, please opt out of Automatic Updates with
installation...

Cyrus, you do not have to opt for the "installation" part to get Automatic
Updates. The automatic installation bypasses your ability to choose which
updates you really need. If you modify your Udate settings, you can have the
best of both worlds.
