stop error 0x0000007B

I reinstalled Win XP, and am unable to access my hard drive. Windows starts, and then goes to a blue screen saying there is an error: stop: 0x0000007B 0xC0000034 0x00000000. I think I have a controller driver problem, and I would like to re-install the driver (through I don't know what 0x0000034 is). I've scanned for viruses, and have none, and tried a CD boot, trying all the options, but no success

Can anyone help me muddle thru this
