Windows Stops and gives me this error message

Im reinstalling windows XP Pro and ive tried booting from the cd and from the
boot disks. It starts the setup but when i press F6 and try to load my
drivers it stops flickers for a second then says this:

A problem has been detected to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time youve seen this stop error screen restart your
computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed Hard Drives
or Hard Drive controllers. Check your hard Drive to make sure its properly
configured and terminated. Run CHKDSK /F to check for Hard Drive corruption,
and then restart your computer.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO

Why are you trying to install from "boot disks" and xp cd,themachine can only
read one at a time,xp doesnt need "boot disks" during set-up anyway...Simply
set to boot to cd in BIOS,at F6,do you run RAID or SCSI,or SATA drives,it'd
be the only reason for F6 option..
