stop error 0x0000007b

running windows 2000, the coputer was accidently shut
down through the surge protector, when the computer was
tured on it booted up with a blue screen..stop error
0x0000007b, tried restarting, shuting down and restarting
but didnt work, I even tried restarting in samemode but
coulnt get passed that blue screen!

help, thank you!

Most likely this is a file system problem since you had a bad shutdown.
Boot from the Windows 2000 CD, choose Repair and choose Recovery
Console. After you login to Windows (assuming it ask you) run Chkdsk /p.
Reboot and see what happens.
