STOP: c000021a Status 0x00000402

I put together a new system and did a clean install of Windows XP. At first
everything went well, then a few days later I got my first BSOD:

Kernel_Stack_inpage_Error
STOP: 0x00000077
(0xC000000E 0xC000000E 0x00000000 0x010DE000)

That only happened once, but I thought it might be significant in light of
what started happening later.
Now, when the computer sits overnight, when I first boot it up, I get this
BSOD:

STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a
status of 0x00000402 (0x0000000 0x00000000)
The system as been shut down.

When I reboot the system, it starts up fine on the next try, and will
continue to reboot until it sits for a while. I have tried researching the
c000021a on the web, but most of the information I can find relates to the
Status 80 error. I have also found that most other instances of this problem
keep you from being able to boot at all, not only on the first attempt like
mine has been doing.

Any suggestions to what may be causing this would be most welcome.

Also, if anyone knows what the status 402 indicates, I would appreciate any
light you could shed on that topic.

Thanks in advance.

Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often.
