STOP: c000021a {fatal system error}

windows logon process system process terminated unexpectedly

this is in XPhome, a logon screen apears first but i dont have the password nor do i have the xp disc. when i click ok without the password XP tries to load but then the blue screen comes up with the above message. Anyway tricks to get around this error without the disc to run recovery (cant get my hands on the disc till later in the week) ?
