Stop autodelete of canceled meetings

Have Outlook 2003 sp2, Windows XP sp2, with my calendar and mail are loaded
to my c: drive. I would like to stop the autodelete of canceled meetings in
my calendar. Have tried setting & resetting,
Tools->Options->Resources-Scheduling-> "Autoprocess meeeting requests and
cancellations", to no avail. The calendar entries are removed whenever I
delete the cancellation email. Any help is appreciated

Judy,
I tried your below direction, along with opening the cancel message prior to
deleting it, and unclicking the "Autoprocess meeting requests". The calendar
entry is still removed when the cancel meeting email is deleted. I believe
this started after Office 2003 SP2 was installed. ???

You could make a new email folder and drag all meeting requests,
cancellations etc into it and don't delete them. Many Executive Assistants
I know do this so that they have records of how many times people sent
changes to meetings, cancelled them, resent etc.
