stop 0x24, ntfs system

My computer is caught in a loop and will not let me into
windows to run chkdsk on my harddrive. I've tried to boot
from the xp cd but the computer in in the loop and just
keeps running and will not boot up. I've checked on the
ox24 info but it don't tell me how to stop and boot up.
thanks for any help.
 
Youll have the option to boot to xp cd before windows boots,however i
unable to get that far,at start-up enter the BIOS,exit page,select,load set
up defaults,then save changes and exit the BIOS.
