will NOT boot in safe, normal or last config.
HISTORY of problem:
in a hurry to go to work, left Microsoft Windows XP Professional Student CD
from Academic learning series in PC.
when i tried to boot next day got bsod and session3_initialization_failed
stop 0x0000006f (*,*,*,*)
have tried recovery.
got Stop: 0x0000007e (0xc0000005,0x204ec882,0xf7a1f430,0xf7a1f12c)
same msg after trying chkdsk r/ and fixboot c: and fix mbr.
xp pro, sp 2.......updates current to 6/22/07
(i am ready to go back to 98 second edition or switch to APPLE !!!!!!!!!!! )

Have you tried booting with only keyboard, mouse and monitor connected?

Can you boot from the Windows XP CD and do a Repair Install?
