I'm trying to install win 2000 server on a compaq proliant 6400r server
but when it starts to load I get the blue screen with the following
stoo error:
stop 0x00000050 (0xfffffdfe, 0x00000000, 0x804584a3, 0x00000000)
address 804585a3 base at 80400000, sate stamp 384d5976- ntoskrnl.exe

I've flashed the bios with a current version and I'm using smartstart
5.5 to load win 2000 server. can someone please help.

Have you added the drive controller drivers by pressing F6 when directed to
during installation?

no i haven't and were would I get the controllers
