STOP 0x0000001E message

I have a IBM NetVista PC running Win2000 Pro. I tried to
set up a new ICC Profile for my Compaq monitor to use with
Adobe Photoshop. Now, I am unable to restart the
computer. I get a Blue Screen with the captioned error
message.

I have tried to uninstall the video card in hopes that the
system would reload the default driver upon reboot but I
am geting messages that some files are missing. I can
boot in Safe Mode and tried to boot to the last know
profile but that does not work.

I can't find anything in the registry that refers to the
ICC profile or monitor settings. Any suggestions?
