I'm still trouble shooting a camera and scanners issue, so I'm just going to
ask some simple questions.

When I plug my Cannon camera XP brings up a window that allows me to select
what I want to do, like copy my pics off of the camera or send them some
place or view them in a slideshow. My question is what is the name of the
program that XP uses to copy the pics from the camera to my hard drive. I'm
not using the program that came with the camera, this one is built into XP
and I would like to know the program name, ????.exe

C:\Windows\system32\wiaacmgr.exe

NOTE: Will only open/run when a digital imaging device is
active in the current hardware profile.
 
Do you know how to create a hardware profile for a camera that doesn't exist
in the scanners and cameras wizard? Cannon doesn't provide a way.
