I am still having publishing issues. My host server
provider is atleast talking to me now about it and seems
to be admitting there were permission errors and they are
having frontpage issues - their tech guy had me shut off
my virus protection firewalls but i am still having
issues. their tech guy used his frontpage 2003 and XP
system and was able to load a test page on my sites with
my passwords. i still do not get to the point of even
get ask for passwords.

getting the error:

unable to publish to http://mydomain.com possible causes
1. server does not support frontpage extensions (which
they do and they are enabled)
2. server is temporarily out of service (which as many
times as I have done this it isn't)
3. if i am using a proxy server, it is set wrong (which i
am not)
4. that another error has occured (my favorite statement -
. . . ???)

Any advice of things to check on my system? or what to
do?

Try publishing using http://www.domainname.com and make sure you have disable any firewall
applications.

Also see if you can open the site in IE, then File Menu | Edit With FP and see if you can access the
site that way.
