still got policy issues

I still can't seem to get my users to have full local machine rights when
connecting to a domain.

.... from below ...
---------------------
Do you mean add the users on the local xp machine to the administrators on
the local machine and not worry about the server policies? I tried that and
it did not work. When I logged on to the domain with the same user name as
on the desktop I was still locked out of everything.
----------------------

Is there some kind of article or something I could look at?

FYI ... I have been on the net, in my books, through every help file,
through google and google groups, through every setting in all policy
settings on win2k server, and found nothing. Is this even possible?

I want my users to have total control over their own desktops. I don't care
about them messing something up.

Thanks,
Donnie

When the client is logged into the domain, go to Control Panel, Users and
Groups, Add, browse. You should be able to choose the local computer and the
domain. From the domain you should be able to add the group Domain users, or
Authenticated users, or whatever.
