Still duration

Now, this is not really a still it is single frame split from an otherwise
blurry clip. To save this precious picture and to give it enough display
duration I dragged it to the time line a number of times. Is there a better
way to do this?

Zoom into the timeline with the single copy of the still picture on it, grab
the trim handle and make it as long a duration as you want.

Also, you can change your still picture default duration time from the pull
down menu.

Select the clip (single frame) in the collections folder. It will show the
frame in the preview window. In the lower right corner of the preview window
there is a little capture button to save the frame as a still. After it is
saved, it will appear in the collection. Grab it and drop it onto the time
line. Now you can stretch the handles on the still to adjust the duration.
You can also save a still from the clip on the timeline, however, I think it
saves at a lower resolution.
