Hit Ctrl-Alt-Del to pull up your Task Manger. Click the Processes tab.
Click the CPU column so that the highest numbers are listed up top. Then
watch and notice what programs are using CPU resources when this happens.
It likely will be the top listed program running at that time that is the
cause.
