Stick a new graphics card into my laptop or not?

The worst graphics in the world!!!
Mobile Intel GM965 Express Chipset

My laptop's graphics seem to be getting worse than ever by the second.
In most games I only get up to 30fps in games like Star Wars Battlefront 2, Pirates of the caribbean at world's end and Toontown in 1024x768.
I know I'm crazy, I even tried running Crysis, it runs, but after about 2 seconds, it will crash to desktop + BSOD.
Is there any way to get more out of a Mobile Intel GM965 Express Chipset? Latest drivers and Windows XP Pro
Or is it possible to fit a new graphics card into my Laptop

Intel graphics suck; ATI and nVidia are a hell of a lot better!

Well are there any games that this intel piece of carp can play properly?
I looked everywhere on the laptop's motherboard but I cannot find the card!
I bet even nVidia would do better!

Device manager reports that there are 2 graphics cards, both named Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family one is at

PCI bus 0, device 2, function 0

another at

PCI bus 0, device 2, function 1
I didn't see a single PCI (express) card slot on the motherboard at all!!!!

The Graphics will be a small black chip, probably no more than an inch square.

In my first laptop 2 1/2 years ago, i had a dual core and 945 chipset, that played company of heroes quite well on low settings.

Its a laptop with intergrated graphics, what do you expect, trying crysis on a PC that has onboard graphics, not gonna happen.

Also a semi decent graphics card for a laptop are not cheap at all, thats if your motherboard will support a standalone graphics card, it ain't a PC.

Edit: I would listen to MadX, he knows what he is on about, i think Laptops are his thing.

Actually, Waynos_Face, the Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset DOES play Crysis, but at a miserable 2 - 10 fps. I could put a video onto youtube to prove it.

For some reason there is no crash or BSOD in Crysis anymore. You can play it but even on low settings it still goes to slow to play well.
