I have to re-boot every hour or so because i lose my
connection.I checked everything I could think of and
nothing works.Never had this problem with win95,win98 or
win98se.Casey

Can you give us more details about how do you lose the network connection?
Do you get a pop-up that says that a network cable was disconnected? If so,
try a different/new network cable or try turning off media sensing.
See 239924 How to Disable Media Sense for TCP/IP in Windows

Is your broadband connection via a PPPoE?
If so, there may be some settings in the PPPoE software that you use to
disable idel disconnect.
