I have 4-5 standard messages I send out in response to
customer requests. In Outlook, apparently stationery means
changing the appearance of emails. I need multiple
boilerplate messages, and it would be nice not to erase a
previous message I've saved in Drafts everytime I need to
do so.
Is there another option?

You can create as many templates in your Drafts folder as you wish. When it
comes time to send it, forward it, fill in the remaining blanks, and send.
By forwarding it, it will remain in your Drafts for the next time.
