startup windows XP

Hi,

I have this problem, every time that I open up window XP
open up automatically many programs. Does
anybody know how to change it?

.Go to Start, Run, and type in MSCONFIG. Then

choose "Selective Startup" Then under the STARTUP GROUP
ITEMS, chose which ones you want to run by checking off
each progrm you want. The machine will run fine if you
don't have any checked. You will be prompted to restatrt.
When the machine comes back up, you will get a warning
and just select "dont remind me again. Good Luck!
