Startup screen will display 1 unread message, after opening Outlook 2003
unread file there are no unread messages.

I was able to find some of the imformation until I got to\Windows\Current
Version. After \Current Vision i had to open a folder keithechapman. In that
folder was four names.
Default
Application Data
Message Count
TimeStamp
I right clicked the first name, to modify, thinking that was it but maybe I
was wrong and I couldn't remember what the settings were for it and couldn't
use an undo function to set it back to the origanal settings. I quit at that
so now what is the proper setting for the first name and I still haven't set
the other recommendation you suggested.
